New Moon in Virgo – September 6, 2021

We are graced with a divine gift as the New Moon in Virgo falls on Labor Day, urging us all to take a moment to relax, catch our breath, and to integrate the past few intense Full Moons in Aquarius that tore us apart so to release so much of what no longer served us. Now, its time to put a focus on what does, on how to rebuild ourselves with a focus on what is healthy, how we can better take care of our body, mind, and souls, and most importantly, how we can better serve those around us.

The New Moon in Virgo puts a major focus on our health, as health-conscious Virgo wants nothing more than to nourish and serve our highest good. We must remember that while we are a spiritual being, we still have to nourish the vessel that houses our soul.

Virgo season is the perfect time to focus on those minor details, our routine, and daily habits that contribute to our health and lifestyle. With a Virgo New Moon, we can really amplify those intentions so to help empower setting new goals that correlate with a healthier way of living.

When the Moon is in Virgo, she is hyper focused on not only our health, but also our daily lives – our routines and how we approach our long-term goals with the smallest of details in what we do every day. This is the perfect time to really consider how you are doing your part, day by day, so to reach that 5-year plan and to make your dreams to come true. Like many, you more than likely set intentions during the New Moon in Leo last month while it coincided with Lion’s Gate, and so now you are given a microscope to see if you are on track, and if not, then what intentions you need to set this month so to ensure you are tending to your dreams accordingly.

It is important to focus on grounding your energy during the time of the New Moon, both leading up to it and also after. The reason being is that our thoughts can get away from us – we can be anxiety ridden, in thinking too far into the future, stressing over the minor details, and also worrying about things that don’t really play that big of a part, but nonetheless, the anxiety is there. Take your time to consider why those thoughts are there – what wounds or insecurities are being triggered? With a more focused, balanced, and grounded mind, and directed at what fuels us, we can better understand how to lay to rest those anxiety ridden thoughts and focus on what fuels us.

This New Moon is vital in getting our heads clear and in the game, as later in the month before the next New Moon which will be in Libra, is when Mercury joins the other planets in retrograde and starts its chaotic journey in Libra as well, bringing up all things in our lives that are imbalanced, primarily within our personal relationships, romantic life, and artistic pursuits.

The New Moon in Virgo is a time on integrating the past work we have done, in being grounded within our bodies, and to focus more clearly with where our soul is leading us.
