Divine Feminine Rising...
The New Moon kicks Virgo season into motion August 27. This season is all about digging deep to release the things which do not serve us. However, being at 4 degrees, we can thankfully welcome in the softness the Cancerian energy brings. This pinpoints the theme of this New Moon to be centered around our daily habits and how they correspond to our environmental influences, our home, and our goals.
When the Moon is in Virgo, it is at its most logical, cynical, and nagging, meaning that many of us become nit-picky over the small things that we’d normally let slide, but Virgoan energy pays attention to the details that are usually missed. Tidying up those small things might seem meticulous and overkill, but overall, they play a big part and can change the course of everyday life in very positive ways.
The New Moon also ignites the divine feminine's demand for safety, security, and more trust in our environments so there is the right space to thrive in creation mode. This is where the nit-picky Virgo goes in and sees that higher potential, then assesses what must go in order to obtain it.
It’s time to start cultivating on what has been gained, and taking it to a whole new level in the areas of our homes, close connections, and need for emotional security.
The prior Aquarius Full Moon played a part in stirring up issues within our partnerships or environmental influences, to determine what keeps us from truly knowing oneself, and our need for the freedom to break free from systems that hold us back.

ARIES SUN, MOON, OR RISING
While you’re quick to jump into things, Aries, this is a time of taking your time. Especially when it comes to new relationships, projects, and pathways. You don’t have all the answers right now, and even if you feel something is right, you might be looking at it in all the wrong ways. Meaning that you’re focusing on the positives and not taking into consideration the cons that may be involved. The answers you seek that show you the right direction will come very soon, just be patient and observe – look beyond what you want to see and take into consideration those red flags you’re avoiding.
TAURUS SUN, MOON, OR RISING
You’re on fire, Taurus, in all the right ways. You might notice you’re more popular than usual, bringing in attention from sources you didn’t think had admired you. While you’re skeptical and want to soak in all the compliments, it’s important to listen to your gut. You’re not one to take in empty compliments, and some of these might just be that – empty. However, an ulterior motive may exist behind the flattery. Take in that ego boost, but don’t let your guard down for someone who is only trying to butter you up for a selfish cause.
GEMINI SUN, MOON, OR RISING
What do you really want, Gemini? Like deep down, what do you truly want? You may be pondering this now, and perhaps may be far into Mercury’s fun retrograde coming on just a few days after this New Moon, and Mars that has recently nestled into your sign where it will stay for the rest of the year thanks to the upcoming retrograde. This means your action plan, what you’re passionate about, and your reactions will be pushed into introspection, so to help you come to grips with a new set of goals, or a better pathway to reach goals that you’ve been wanting to reach.
CANCER SUN, MOON, OR RISING
Your insecurities might be triggered with the New Moon, due to the Virgoan energy nitpicking at all your flaws. However, you cannot forget to take a look at your strengths, inner and outer beauty, and all of the great things you do for others. You are enough, Cancer, don’t forget that, and if someone makes you feel that you’re less, then let them think what they want, because you’re doing your best and that’s all that matters. Don’t allow anyone to shrink you down and take back your power.
LEO SUN, MOON, OR RISING
Not too long ago you experienced a massive blow that pushed you onto a path that wasn’t your choosing. It has not been an easy road for you, but you’re learning to mend the wounds you received and to graciously let go of what you had to part with. Healing takes time, and as much as you want to rush, you instead need to sit with the pain and learn from it. We all go through highs and lows in life, no one is exempt. You are starting to rise once again, but just like the art of letting go, this process will also take time. You may come across new experiences or opportunities during this New Moon that offer to fill up the space that was created.
VIRGO SUN, MOON, OR RISING
Never forget the beauty of your dreams, Virgo, for they truly mean something and aren’t just fantasy, unless you keep restricting yourself from reaching them. You have some higher goals you wish to peruse that can create far-reaching changes in your life, creating new milestones, and bringing you closer to yourself, the divine, and your community. You may be feeling more alive with the idea of moving towards them, and with that will come a burst of energy to get those creative juices flowing on constructing a fool-proof plan to make them a reality.
LIBRA SUN, MOON, OR RISING
The New Moon brings new experiences with your cherished loved ones, circle of friends, or social network that creates memories you can look back on in the future for inspiration. Be sure to take up on any invitations you receive to get out of the house or join in on some special event, especially if it involves larger groups, as it’s going to be just what you need to lift your vibration and have you feeling content, like you’re exactly where you need to be, which is a wonderful sign that you are. The New Moon in Virgo brings you in alignment, setting the tone for more enriching experiences.
SCORPIO SUN, MOON, OR RISING
There’s a grudge you’ve been holding which isn’t serving anyone, especially yourself. You are just allowing yourself to drink the poison of your own anger and resentment, rather than talking about it, transmuting it into creativity, or turning the pain into power. You can’t allow this to continue to eat at you, otherwise it will seep out in other areas of your life that create more reasons to feel sour. You may need to step outside of your emotions and take a more practical look at how you’re feeling and how it’s affecting others around you, then assess the wound and begin your healing.
SAGITTARIUS SUN, MOON, OR RISING
Look to the future, Sagittarius, what do you really want to achieve? You’ve got some big plans brewing and can see the whole picture; however, you can’t forget those tiny details that the Virgo New Moon is telling you to pay attention to. All that tedious work must be done, otherwise you could potentially create more problems or blockage in the future than you’d want. As much as you want to run with what you’ve got, you need to take your time and consider all the energies involved or needed.
CAPRICORN SUN, MOON, OR RISING
This is a time to get out there and be amongst your people, Capricorn. The New Moon energy may bring in new connections that predict future enrichment, that is long-lasting. Flock towards those you really feel at home with and allow that thick amour to just relax and be yourself with others you feel comfortable around doing so. This will put you in the right space to receive new connections that truly bring what you want, on a conscious level.
AQUARIUS SUN, MOON, OR RISING
You are going to experience results from prior efforts come through rapidly, perhaps even quicker than you’d expect. Be ready to receive, Aquarius, but try your best to keep up. With these rewards comes many new opportunities, and even some challenges. You have all the tools needed to conquer anything, and don’t forget that because the confidence in your own abilities is what will attract all the right things for you.
PISCES SUN, MOON, OR RISING
While the New Moon opposes you, it does instill a wonderful feeling of having it all and being content with where you currently stand. You may receive the reassurance, or the completion of a long-working goal. This is a time of taking it slow and being thankful for everything you’ve worked so hard for, to enjoy the environment you’ve built, and soak in all the wonderfulness it offers. Don’t be surprised
