This New Moon is quite powerful in terms of Shadow Work and kicking off Mercury’s retrograde in Scorpio. While New Moon’s are typically themed for starting something new or planting seeds, this one is focused on helping us let go and putting in those final touches to things we have been working on already. This is a time of cleaning out those skeletons from your closet, in letting go of a painful past and making peace with your shadowy aspects that you have been fighting against.

This is a time of reaching out when you feel you need to express yourself, to a trustworthy source – you need someone to help guide you through your emotions or to validate your feelings. Counselling, therapy, or even having a good friend who can provide an objective perspective can greatly help during times of feeling at odds with your heart, mind, and soul. Shadow Work is truly the path of the heart warrior, however, sometimes it is difficult to do this on your own without a system to help organize a plan of action in how to navigate through, or someone to help untangle the messy knots that your thoughts have become.

This Scorpio New Moon says its time to clean house and it is time to find your path that transforms your shadow into light, so to bring peace back to your mind and grace back to your heart. In terms of setting any new goals, planting seeds, or casting new intentions – have your focus be on new habits and behaviors. Ask yourself: Are you reacting from your wounds and being led by them? Or are you acting from a place of healing?
