On March 24th we are graced with a fiery New Moon in Aries. This is where we plant those seeds and focus on our higher goals. We are inspired with strength, courage, and a sense of adventure in breaking past barriers that had once held us back. The cosmos are pushing us to act upon much of what we had integrated from the year prior and the recent months. This is the push we need and the boost of energy that blasts us towards the newness we have been yearning for.
I know with how the World has been recently, that this Aries Moon can cause some major aggressive behavior as many scramble to get the last of their necessities for fear of mandatory quarantines. This global pandemic has many in a fear-state, worried about their future and their livelihoods, as MANY things are going to change.
The good thing about this Aries Moon is the influence of independence and self-sufficiency. While it can provoke that “me-first” attitude, which we have been seeing within the World, at least within the United States, as many are hoarding food and necessities, leaving very little for others to fend for themselves. With that being said – independence is key right now, to focus on depending on yourself, in getting into that creative mindset which this Moon can inspire and to start crafting up with that DIY list you have saved in your Pinterest board.
Spring is coming within the Western hemisphere, and so what better time to start focusing on gardening and getting a sustainable way of living in getting more off-grid and further away from the systems that are currently facing a massive collapse.
If anything, I do feel that this Aries Moon paired with the Aries sun, can provoke a time of getting those wheels turning in how you can focus on using your mental and will power towards a better way of living, that is less dependent on the powers that be, and more focused on the power within.
The New Moon in Aries is going to kick Aries season off with a massive bang, in inspiring those leadership skills to be put to good use. This is a time of leading by example. We all have desired World change for a very long time, and it seems that we are starting to embark on that now. Be the change you wish to see in the World and allow others to follow in your footsteps.
Tarot Reading for the New Moon in Aries
8 of Wands
Card is from the Mystic Mondays Tarot
The 8 of Wands is a terrific card for the New Moon in Aries – perhaps not in social gatherings, as it can cater to getting out there and mingling with others, as for right now we are instructed to stay home and to practice social-distancing. However, when it comes to social media or conversing via text or phone, it would be a great time to start sharing ideas and allowing those crafting and creative skills to take center stage.
Rather than allowing the World events to put you in a state of mass-panic like many others out there, instead consider this a challenge, or an adventure if you will, that is focused on self-sufficiency, perseveration and in honing your creativity towards ways you can create your own household necessities through recyclable items and upcycling things you may already have. Rather than spending all that you have on things which you could easily make on your own and save a few bucks, put your creativity to good use and consider how you can show others on how to do the same for themselves as well.
The 8 of Wands also speaks of coming out into the spotlight and others taking notice of your creativity and what you have to offer the World. I feel this speaks volumes to the Indigo Children/star seeds or empaths who have been accustomed to isolation and speaking up about the corruption in the world. The time to start a new system is now, and the time to help others become comfortable with going within rather than seeking outwardly for entertainment or filling that void is crucial for the well-being of the collective.
