Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn - July 4/5, 2020

On America’s birthday, July 4th, (or the day after, depending on your time zone) we have an incredibly powerful and karmically charged Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn which will be visible in the United States.

A Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth’s shadow – when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are perfectly aligned and only happens during a Full Moon.

​This Eclipse is going to be incredibly heavy, especially when considering the civil unrest that is currently happening not only in America, but on a global scale. This is where corruption and abuse of power comes to light, and the changes that must be made to invoke a positive new era are slowly being put into place.

On a personal level, you can count on this Eclipse to bring out unsettled emotions and even triggers from the past that need to be cleared in order to rake in the rewards and life-changes we have been wanting.

With everything going on in the World right now, with us purging the toxicity within us, especially related to history, I feel this is directly targeting our ancestral roots. While many of us have nothing to do with the crimes, or even the pains that our ancestors had endured, we still carry their karmic lessons and wounds, as much as we carry their gifts. We are going through a turning point in history where we are understanding that much of what we have been taught, is not the truth, and much of what we have grown accustomed to accepting, is also not the truth. There is so much darkness within our history – the history of our own country, and the history of our lineage, that has been lying dormant for too long, and now it is erupting and begging to be cleansed. We cannot carry these battle wounds, cries of pain, or ignorance with us into the future if we wish to have a better World to live in, and a better World to leave behind to our future kin. Change is inevitable and the most constant in life – there is no way to go around this change, as it must be accepted, and it must be brought into action.

The changes we wish to bring into the World though, HAVE to start with us. We must make these changes within ourselves if we wish to see them in the World.

Capricorn is all about calling out corruption and cutting away the toxicity that holds us back from reaching those higher goals. We cannot climb to that mountain top if we continue to carry this excess baggage on our backs.
