Full Moon in Libra – March 28, 2021

On March 28th we are given the balance we need when the Full Moon tips the cosmic scales within Libra. This creates a powerful, but also incredibly diplomatic and soothing conjunction with the Sun, Venus, and Chiron which is governed by the battle-born Aries.

The lunar energies direct our focus towards our relationships, partnerships, and things that we hold immense value in. It is libra's job to restore balance, to bring the diplomacy which is needed in order to bring anything out of balance into harmony. This means the things which are out of balance are going to be emphasized during this time, highlighting the areas we need to add that extra touch in order to resolve old conflicts and uncomfortable feelings. Do not be alarmed if you are easily triggered to bring an old conflict back or are confronted by someone else – it is all for the sake of removing that resentment, stagnate feelings/energy, and to offer a chance for reconciliation and resolution.

​Libra is able to see both sides of a situation, which is how it received its most popular trait of being indecisive. While many would consider this to be a negative trait, it is in fact incredibly positive as it instills a deep sense of empathy and the energy to meet in the middle. 

The cosmos have had many of us on edge recently because of so many placements within war hungry Aries. Things have been said that cannot be taken back, done that cannot be undone, and so with the graceful influence of Libra, we can come around to a better understanding so to at least resolve the hard feelings that have been left behind from these actions. Consider the Libra moon to be the peace treaty that is drawn out after a war.

Libra offers compromise and cooperation, making it all the easier to find common ground within conflicts, to mend bridges, and to restore the light back into our eyes so to see the World through a lens that is focused on the hidden beauty and magic.

Ruled by Venus, Libra sees the beauty within the world that many are blind to. The Full Moon marks the perfect time to make our surroundings beautiful, to put ourselves in situations where beauty is all around us, and to take a second look at the bland, boring, and mundane, so to see the inner spark that has been there the whole time. This is incredibly helpful because it inspires us to restore the magic within areas of our lives that we have felt most troubled or stuck in.

Libra is also one of the many artists of the Zodiac, and paired within the conjunction of Aries, much of the chaos surrounding us can be transmuted into creativity. Ride the wave, flow with it, and you will find power once inspiration knocks, fueling those creative juices. While typically a full moon is about release and it is not prime to start something new, Libra does inspire us to rejuvenate the old and to restore its freshness through the artistic lens it views the world through.
