Full Moon in Leo – February 9, 2020

On February 9th we are welcomed with a powerful Leo Full Moon that puts our focus onto our inner child, leadership issues/roles and in finding conclusions with business or creative projects. The Leo Moon is opposing the Aquarius Sun, and so it puts a major emphasis finding creative ways to resolve old issues within the areas mentioned.

Typically, when the Moon is in Leo, drama is usually the main theme – but not in the sense that you would think when drama is associated with trouble. While there is always a tendency to overact in situations that take our shine away, this is a time of grand displays, impressionable entrances and even the need for attention or to be applauded for our hard work and efforts. This is a time to take pride in who we are and what we have to offer.

This regal Moon is all about coming out into the spotlight and taking in the admiration and applause from others. Our shine becomes brighter when we see the light within the eyes of others over what we have expressed to them.

With Valentine’s Day just a few days away, and this Moon coming in the weekend before, we do need to be mindful of splurging over budget for the ones we love and want to shower with our affections. Again, things will be done on a grander scale and often Leo tends to go overboard.
