Mother Moon

The Moon has such an influential power on the Earth and every living thing on it - just as all the planets in our solar system do. As the World turns in our Milky Way the constellations and the Planets incorporate some avenue for growth and when the Moon is full it really pushes down whatever alignment it is in towards us.

We can take these planetary influences in for personal and spiritual growth just as we can use them as powerful tools to preform magic. You can cast a spell anytime but for something bigger you want to wait for the planets, especially the Moon, to be in the right placement.

New Moon & Full Moon

New Moon heralds a new beginning and is perfect for focusing your energy on starting something new. If there is a goal you want to start on, a challenge you wish to overcome, or a new relationship you want to start; then the New Moon is the perfect time to send out your intentions. Typically before a New Moon, many whom are connected or sensitive to it's energy will experience closures and hard shifts from one phase and onto the next.

Full Moon is all about magnifying the energy of what you're currently working on. This is the peak of the intentions you sent out during the New Moon. The light of the Full Moon charges the energy of your venture and magnifies what needs to be seen. This is why that typically around Full Moons there is a flare up of crime, emotional outbursts, and agitated people. The Full Moon pulls out and amplifies emotion just as it pulls on the waves of the Ocean.

Waning & Waxing

Many people forget this very important rule to magic and healing. Always keep in mind that the phases of the Moon do matter in whatever spell or healing ritual you are preforming.

Waning is for personal growth and reflection. This is the time you need to take to charge of yourself and to look inwardly at personal issues that may be hindering growth. Meditation is ideal during this time.

Waxing is for spell casting. This is the perfect time to set out intentions, to work with the Law of Attraction and for working on abundance rituals.

Super Moon

Is when the Moon is closer to the Earth, making its affects even more intense. It also appears larger in the sky.
