CARDS # 1
7 of Pentacles | Raidho
There is something that you are working on, which has been a lengthy process so far, and you might feel as if it is never going to evolve as you wish it would. However, you’re not acknowledging the movement you have made so far, which is slowing down the process because of a mindset on doubt and pessimism towards the future.
The 7 of Pentacles is a card of growth, but also of a journey that is longstanding. It isn’t something that comes easy and so you have to work for it, even if things do seem as if they are blossoming, there is still work to be done, and so slowing down or even throwing in the towel because you aren’t getting the exact results quick enough would only slow down the growth, or even worse, remove the results you have been working hard at. It’s as if you’re growing a garden, and before the fruit or vegetables have ripen, you’re picking them too soon which only takes away from the taste and quality of your hard work. To ensure you get the result you have worked for, you need to continue putting in the work – not just physical labor, but also the mental and emotional aspects of it that involve the ambitious attitude and hope for a positive outcome in the future.
Paired with the Rune Raidho, which symbolizes the Thor’s Chariot, speaks of a journey, and how your journey is not quite yet done yet, also, that your result you’re hoping for mainly stems from the journey itself.
You might need to add more organization in your life, perhaps you are getting sidetracked by too much outside influence which is pulling you away from the key factors that need to be at play here, such as your attitude and focus.
The Chariot | Ingwaz
While you feel as if you’ve got so many blockages standing in your from what you desire, or the goals you are trying to reach… these blockages may be self-imposed and the cause of doubt or worry about the future. Stop it, get out of your head and back into your heart, because you are basically holding yourself back from something truly rewarding and positive by limiting yourself with a mental state based on insecurity and fear.
The Chariot is typically pictured as a person driving a cart with no wheels pulled by two horses which are out of control, however, the person has a face of motivation and the cart is still moving in the direction they are focused on. If you allow outside factors to control you, then you are giving up your control and allowing it to have power in controlling you even more, thwarting your growth and taking away that result you desire to come forth. Your mental attitude and willpower is what drives you, so take back your power and get the ball rolling back into your favor by willing it to do so. You truly do hold more power and control over this situation than you are allowing yourself to realize. Stop buckling under the outside pressure and instead make diamonds out of coal – which can only form under pressure. Transmute that energy.
Ingwaz is a rune of good fortune and protection – so know that as long as you get your mindset right, you will allow the protection of your guides as well as the energies surrounding you to work in your favor. Mind over matter!
Most of all, be patient, and know that even though your journey is a positive one, that we have to face certain adversity as well as negativity along the way to make us all the stronger, and deserving of that final result.
Cards # 3
6 of Cups | Naudhiz
You might feel as if everything is going against you, or that you are in need of something that is far too out of reach. This is making you feel helpless, as well as powerless. Again, the challenges that you face, which seem to be the theme of all three of these cards, are self-imposed and created by your own fears and insecurities or doubts.
Something from the past is resurfacing and it is as if it’s fated. You feel as if you are pushed through a cycle that you had once revisited, and you feel its unfair, and that you do not deserve this. However, you need to understand that the reason for this visitation of circumstances is to remind you of your inner strength and as well as to allow you to receive the closure you had felt you went without. The past will repeat itself until the cycle is broken through establishing a new state of mind and nourishing the seeds you planted when you had first broken it in the past.
Also, you may have someone resurfacing in your life that you had missed or didn’t receive the closure when you first parted ways. This person is in your life for a reason, and it may be that you need to review the past and regain that strength and motivation to move forward, or perhaps there is something even more significant that they bring such as a fruitful future together – whatever it may be, it is something that is extremely positive and vital to your personal growth. Look deeper into the reason why this person, or situation, is resurfacing into your life, and try to incorporate a new perspective about things rather than the tried and true from the past, because you have to switch things up a bit in order to finally close this chapter, as well as to bypass this cycle.
