That New Year, New Me mantra is something you want to abide by as the ball drops on December 31st, but it seems there are things in the past that still have you locked down under the same agonizing flow you were hoping would end with 2016.

As aggravating as this might be for eager Aries, the lesson, or gift, here is for you to revisit and reclaim something in which you had missed when you first had the opportunity. This ‘do-over’ won’t seem like the present it’s meant to be because of the nature it comes about.

Your biggest challenge is mind over matter. How you perceive January is going to determine how it flows for you. See it for the negatives and that is all you will get from it – see it for the blessing it is then that is exactly what you will receive.

Love seems a bit rocky for you, romantic Aries. You want fireworks, excitement and a challenge, in which you will receive, but not in the way you had imagined. Your main concern will be for your loved ones who might be in trouble and come to you for help and advice. You are a natural problem solver, and you love to chime in and take the lead when someone needs to be rescued. You are, after all, the brave hero of the zodiac who would never dream of turning down a challenge. However, there are some things that are best left for the key people involve to resolve – getting your hands in the pot can sometime bring more trouble than solutions – and you owe a lot of that to your egocentric, “can-do-attitude”.

Dishonesty or gossip is another issue you might find yourself knee deep in. As Mercury keeps its retrograde period for the first part of January, it seems it hits your love life & close relationships the hardest when it comes to communication and your sense of perspective.

You will be taking a hard look at your finances and area of career this month. You are up for a change, something big, and on a whole different level than you have been on for the majority of your professional life thus far.

Taking another glance at your checkbook and seeing where your mistakes and wise investments were will help you understand how and where you need to apply any changes. Perhaps you want more financial security, or you want to start saving for that house, car, etc. Cleaning up your spending habits and creating a budget plan will help you get the leg up you need to be financially prepared to make 2017 financially comfortable and even profitable – don’t miss out by procrastinating!
