While I was focusing on the week ahead as I shuffled the cards, the Devil flew right out, and I knew, it had a lot to do with the Capricorn Full Moon this Sunday (The Devil card’s astrological sign is Capricorn). I know that many are going through a hard time recently, either ridden with anxiety or having certain things in their life “crumble”, but from what I feel from these cards, as well as within myself, all of this is for our highest good. The universe has saw fit to project things within our environment as well as the very thoughts in our head to trigger a response that will bring about movement onto the right course. You are being asked to pause for a moment and look around, make a personal inventory of the people around you, influencing you, and the goals you are trying to achieve. Are they for your highest good? Will your material goals bring you money quickly, or will it bring you the abundance you need throughout the course of now and into the future?

The ego can be impatient, but the soul knows time is merely an illusion.

Financial, home, or work issues might be on display this week, and the best advice I can channel from these cards is to take the King of Cup’s advice in following your heart, making space from others if needed, and to balance your emotions before coming to a sudden reaction. Sometimes we can let our bills and adulting obligations get in the way of our peace of mind and succumb to darker emotions when under stress. This is why taking personal time for yourself is needed to collect your thoughts. Don’t project your frustrations on others.

If there is something you must give up, perhaps a credit card, or some form of expense that always keeps you ‘behind’ on your budget, or that you take advantage of, then this week may be having you give it up. You might not want to because you feel you need it, but with time you will find that you can get along without it, as long as you budget your expenses correctly. Sometimes we spend too much on Starbucks, or buy the expensive brand name of things when the generic is just as good… little things like that over the course of time can end up saving you a lot of money.

Also, there is a high chance that those who own their own shops, or have a sales base/commission type of career that they could bring in a lot of money this week as well. The key is passion, as when you truly believe in the product, service or idea that you are selling, then others will flock to it. Don’t let the money get to your head though – don’t feel that the money is the only purpose you are doing this. Sure, you need to pay bills and other expenses, but you don’t want to succumb to a 3rd dimensional mindset and lower your vibration because of your material greed. Have faith that you can attract what you need and desire, but don’t let that be your main goal or purpose in this goal – focus rather on how the service or product you give to others can help them.

The Devil is a card of extreme abundance, but also rules our ego and in the direction we go because of the ego-based needs. Many people fear this card because it typically means that they’re being called out or something is wrong – however, in this case with the surrounding cards I feel it brings a perfect balance with the King of Cups. Many Spiritualists and Gurus will tell you to “starve the ego, feed the soul.” Actually, no, we need balance between the two, because we are most empowered when the heart and the mind come together in union and shoot after something we want. This is when we align ourselves with our higher goals and use both our soul and will-power to achieve what we want.

I do suggest spending the time of the Full Moon (the moon is still powerful 3 days before, and 3 days after when it is New or Full) making a goal chart, dream board, or revamping your game plan of your financial and material goals. This moon is going to be insanely powerful for money rituals and casting intentions for a 10-year plan (yes, think long-term when the moon is in cap). Be practical, and envision all of your steps.
