Venus Morningstar Tarot - Deck Review

This deck is absolutely captivating, blending the familiarity of the tarot with the beauty and power of Renaissance art. 

As always, Natasha shows great care when packaging her decks. It arrived just as the others did, safe and sound. I was too eager to get my hands on it, and so I unfortunately did not capture any photos to share. This deck just spoke to me the second I saw the photos on her Instagram.

Again, as always Natasha delivers their deck's boxes sturdy and well-made, perfect for protecting these gorgeous cards. I love when creators put thought into how their decks are presented, and this one definitely gets it right.

The Booklet

The little guidebook that comes with this deck is just lovely! It shows each card's image, along with keywords, an affirmation, and even gives credit to the original Renaissance artist. It allows for those keywords to trigger the reader's intuition, so to come up with a story of their own.

The Cards

The card stock is divine – sturdy and high-quality with a smooth, matte finish that makes shuffling a dream. The cards are edged with the most delicate gold foil, adding a touch of luxury and magic. The cards are also a good size, making them easy to handle and read.

These cards are adorned with masterpieces reminiscent of the Renaissance era, bringing a whole new level of artistry and depth to the tarot. Think rich colors, flowing fabrics, and figures that seem to come alive with emotion. The overall effect is both magical and inspiring.

One of the things I love most about this deck is how intuitive it is to read with. Even with the classic art style, the symbolism shines through, making it easy to connect with the cards and understand their messages.
