The most important part of any ritual, meditation session, spiritual work and pretty much everything in life is learning to ground, find your center and to shed away unwanted energies. This Solar Eclipse & New Moon in Pisces has a lot of people feeling ALL the feels, those of others and even the entire World for some who have a lot of Piscean placements in their chart. When you take in too much around you, you can crash and burn from a sensory overload or even project those qualities you absorb from others - acting in ways you wouldn't normally or even taking up some bad habits.
Sure signs of needing to ground are when you feel as if the World is against you. Your patience is thin, its hard to see the positive in a situation, & you're finding too hard to focus or tune into a task. You need to bring silence to the noise in your head. You're focused on too many things all at once which are causing a major imbalance, rocking you off your centered ground.
Everything is very "open" right now. Negative thought particles, or spirit attachments, are on full throttle within this spiritual warfare, and those with more gifts, brighter light, and more connection to the other realms are the main target to bring down and destroy. Even the Christian bible and many other religions speak of a war between good and evil, or light and darkness. Yes, we need both sides to create balance, but currently things are very imbalanced as we are shifting from the Piscean Age into the Aquarian New Age.
By grounding yourself, you are also reconnecting to spirit & strengthening the link you share with divine energy. Just watch, one minute you will be beyond frustrated & angry, or even spaced out, then after taking the time to re-center, you will feel inspired again & ready to accomplish the tasks that at first had you frustrated. It all starts from within, my friends.
HOW TO GROUND & CENTER
You can practice a quick grounding ritual at any time. This can simply be thoughts, prayer, holding a crystal or even walking barefoot on grass. Spend time alone, in a quite place. Say some mantras, chants, or simply meditate in the silence. Walk barefoot in nature & soak up the warm sun, or the cool night if you prefer. You want to be "rooted" with your feet firmly planted on the ground, feeling the earth beneath you and breathe deeply and slowly. You can include anything you like from that helps you "come back" and feel content in your space. This will also help protect you from any negative outside influences. From others around you, and from the spiritual realms. Peace will only come to you if you create a safe place for it.
A simply breathing exorcise can do SO much for you. This will help open the flow of energy as well as oxygen within you, which is vital for a high vibration.

HUG A TREE
Before and after I had worked on my massage clients, I would use this helpful stance to get me grounded and in tune with my client, and when coming back to myself. Yes, you stand just like you are holding a tree, as the image above shows.
Plant your feet firmly on the ground, your legs are the trunk of the tree, your feet are growing roots into the ground. You are rooted, your base is firmly planted. Hold your weight in your legs and put your arms in front of you, as if you are hugging a tree. Feel the flow of energy between your arms and imagine yourself, as a tree in a forest, immovable from the base, but able to stretch to the heavens from your crown.
CRYSTALS & GEMSTONES
Black stones in general are typically your Go-To for grounding as well as psychic protection and ridding negative energy. Other colors however, also posses the qualities to help ground and center you. My favorite stones for grounding are:
Have you hearing of Earthing? I mentioned a little bit of it in the first few paragraphs of this post. Earthing is vital for connection and grounding. All you have to do is literally touch your feet to the ground, be it dirt, rocks, grass, sand... the earth's floor, basically. As you connect with the earth below, focus on the feeling of the texture of what you are standing on. Feel the energy flow from the base of your feet, to the top of your head. You can practice breathing exorcises as you do this as well to heighten the grounding and centering effect.
